Welcome
Rooted in the living tradition of the Orthodox Church, St. Tikhon’s Seminary integrates theological learning, pastoral preparation, liturgical life, and community living into a holistic experience of Orthodox spiritual formation. Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania, the Seminary has prepares clergy and lay leaders from across the nation and across jurisdictions for faithful service to Christ and His Church.

We exist to form faithful Orthodox Christian priests, deacons, and lay leaders into a scriptural, eucharistic, patristic, liturgical, and pastoral theological community oriented toward making disciples of all nations.
Explore The Path To Seminary
The Vocations Hub was created for those discerning a call to serve Christ and His Church and seeking a clearer understanding of Orthodox seminary life. Whether you are exploring theological education for the first time or actively considering the next step toward ministry, the Hub brings together the essential guidance on discernment, admissions, tuition and aid, and seminary community life in one welcoming, accessible space.
Through introductory videos, formation pathways, vocational discernment resources, student stories, information on financing a seminary education, and opportunities to learn more about the transition to seminary life, prospective seminarians and families are invited to explore what life at St. Tikhon’s truly looks like. With clear next steps and opportunities to connect with the Director of Vocations, the Hub seeks to support inquirers as they discern taking the next step towards seminary.
