St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary is pleased to announce that again this year it will be sending representatives to the Cornerstone Christian Music Festival. This year's event will take place July, 2-6, 2012 in Bushnell, Illinois.

Representatives from the St. Tikhon's Community as well as Seminary Alumni and dedicated volunteers are preparing for this week-long opportunity for orthodox evangelism.

Last year the school lent its support to the outreach project headed by the Department of Youth for the Orthodox Church in America. The event was a monumental success and provided an Orthodox presence for the annual event that brings 20-50 thousand young people of various denominations to one place for a week of music, seminars and artistic expression.

 

This year St. Tikhon’s is pleased to be able to send its own group to Cornerstone Festival thanks largely to the support of the Board of Trustees of St. Tikhon’s Seminary as well as generous donations from the Diocese of the Midwest, the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania, and the Diocese of New & New Jersey, St. Tikhon’s Monastery Bookstore, as well as the Department of Evangelism for the Orthodox Church in America.
