100th Anniversary of St. Alexis of Willkes-Barre - 05/06/09

St. Tikhon's Seminary and Monastery celebrate the feast day of St. Alexis of Willkes-Barre on the 100th Anniversary of his repose.  Since St. Alexis is buried in the Monastery Church at St. Tikhon's, it was a special blessing for the students, staff, and surrounding community to participate in the 100th anniversary of St. Alexis' falling asleep in the Lord.
The services were presided by our Rector, His Grace, Bishop TIKHON.  Also there to celebrate the feast with us was Bishop-Elect of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Fr. Melchizedek.
