During the week of August 10, over 40 children, together with 20 seminarians and their wives, participated in
our 4th Annual Vacation Church School for Seminary families. The
program ran from 9:30AM - 3PM Monday to Friday. This year's
theme was “A Story for Life!" with daily lessons on the Old Testament
Story of Joseph taught by our Dean, Father Michael Dahulich. When not in lessons the children,
aged 2-17, learned and rehearsed a vignette version of the Broadway
Musical, "Joseph & the Technicolor Dreamcoat" , as well as making
their own sets and costumes. Each day would end with fun swimming at
the pool. The week culminated in an energetic performance
of the
musical for parents accompanied by seminarian musicians. Children
celebrated their hard work with “Wacky Olympics” fun and a generously
sponsored trip to Dorney Amusement Park. The entire event was a blessing and success for our community!
