St. Nicholas Day Celebrations
On Monday, December 6th, Bishop TIKHON led the monastic brotherhood, seminarians and their families, and the faithful in honoring St. Nicholas of Myra in Lycia. Due to poor weather conditions, the evening caroling has been postponed until Thursday, December 9th, at 6pm.
Each year seminarians, their families, and the community of St. Tikhon's gather together to sing hymns and carols in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the great 4th century saint of the Church. To this day, his miraculous relics are still preserved in the church which bears his name in Bari, Italy.
