Christ\'s Holy Church and Her Mission to the World
On September 22, 2009, the Annual Lecture Series began with an informative and thought provoking lecture by Hieromonk Father Damascene from St. Herman's Monastery in Platina, California entitled "Christ the Eternal Tao" on the topic of Orthodox Christian witness to Communist China.
The following week, September 29th, Fr. Moses Berry, Pastor of the Theotokos "Unexpected Joy" Mission in Ash Grove, Missouri, gave an inspirational and motivational talk on missionary work in the Afro-American Community, entitled "Honoring a Shared Heritage."
