The Annual Fall Lecture Series ended on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 with a talk by Fr. John Oliver (STOTS 2004), pastor of St. Elizabeth Orthodox Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Fr. John is author of the best-selling Touching Heaven: Discovering Orthodox Christianity on the Island of Valaam, his new book Giver of Life: The Holy Spirit in Orthodox Tradition, and the popular Hearts and Minds podcast. He spoke on, “Blessed Violence: Caring for a World in Crisis.” Fr. John also made himself available to sign copies of his books and answer questions after the lecture was complete.

St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary thanks all of our speakers and visitors for their participation, and for helping to make this years event successful.
