On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 Dr. Mary Ford presented a lecture to the St. Tikhon’s Women’s Group entitled “Topics on the Revelation of St. John”. Dr. Mary Ford is the Associate Professor of New Testament and Spirituality at St. Tikhon’s Seminary. In this first part of a two-part series, she spoke of the importance of approaching the book of Revelation with an Orthodox world-view. Dr. Mary also talked about the misunderstandings in our culture surrounding Revelation, and warned that the recent fascination with the imagery in the book can lead to further misunderstandings.
