Following a week of spiritual retreat and academic orientation, the incoming class of seminarians begin their seminary journey.

After Vespers and Matins on Friday, 2 September, His Grace, Bishop Tikhon, rector, invoked God's blessing upon the new students and gave each the blessing to wear the cassock as an outward sign of humilty and the Lord's protection.

On Saturday morning, 3 September, following the Divine Liturgy officiated by His Grace, a Moliebien was served for the health, salvation, and prosperity of the faculty, staff, and students during the new school year.
