On Saturday, February 23, St. Tikhon Seminary and St. Vladimir Seminary gathered together for a Basketball Game between the two seminaries, a tradition that had started many years ago, stopped for several years and now is being restrarted.
Following the games, everyone enjoyed lunch together in the seminary refectory. The visitors from St. Vladimir Seminary were given a tour of the Monastery Church and of the Metropolitan THEODOSIUS Museum. Many of the guests, including the new Chancellor, Archpriest Chad Hatfield, remained at St. Tikhon Monastery for Vigil that evening.
All in all, it was a wonderful day for both seminaries to be together.
