St Tikhon's Summer Camp - 04/04/10
This year, over 180 campers, counselors and staff members took part in our Summer Camp which began on the 4th of July, and ended on July 10th.
Our themes this year were "Sacred Vessels-II" and "The Feasts of the Theotokos."
Camp activities included daily workshops, swimming, boating, fishing, hikes, skits, egg decorating, cake decorating, our famous hayride, tours of Metropolitan Theodosius Museum, cookouts, sing-alongs, etc.
St Tikhon's has one of the oldest Orthodox summer camps in North America, it has been an annual event since the 1960's when it was founded by Metropolitan Herman.
